University of the Arts Transfer Opportunities

We welcome you to consider Otis College of Art and Design and Los Angeles for the continuation of your creative studies! Our team is here to support you and offer you resources to make this transition as seamless as possible. We will offer maximum transfer credits from University of the Arts to Otis and a guaranteed scholarship tuition discount. 

University of the Arts students can apply for Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 to complete their studies with us. University of the Arts students will receive a teach out at Otis and the following benefits:

• No essays or letters of recommendation required
• Fast-tracked application review and admission counselor support
• Acceptance of University of Art's credits towards an Otis degree so you can stay on track to graduate (including seniors)
• Waiving the 63 transfer credit maximum
• Dedicated transfer advising
• Tuition Discount of $28,000 per academic year* / Otis tuition is $53,772

To be eligible for the teach out, you should apply for major directly correlated in the chart below. If you apply for a different major, you will still be eligible for transfer credits from University of the Arts to Otis.
